About Sudoku Arena
Sudoku Arena is a free Sudoku game for the web and Android, built for people who enjoy a good puzzle and a little friendly competition. You can play as a guest, or create a player with just a username and password (no email needed) to join the leaderboards.
What you can do here
- Six difficulty levels, from Easy to Extreme, modelled on the levels players know from the most popular Sudoku apps. Every puzzle is generated fresh, has exactly one solution, and never needs guessing.
- The Daily Challenge: one puzzle a day, the same for everyone, with a streak to keep alive.
- Weekly tournaments: every solve adds to your weekly score; the top three win medals.
- Friends leagues: add friends by username or friend code, see who is online, and compare scores every week.
- Learning tools: notes, hints that explain the technique behind them, and our guides on how to play and solving strategies.
- Works offline: practice puzzles keep working without a connection and sync later.
Fair scores
Puzzles and solutions stay on our server. Every number you enter is checked there, the clock is the server's, and your score is calculated there, so a leaderboard position means something. Suspicious results are held for review. See how scoring works.
How it is funded
Sudoku Arena is free to play. It is supported by a small number of ads, shown in calm places such as the home page and below leaderboards, never while you are solving and never as pop-ups. The only full-screen ad is one you choose to watch to continue a game after running out of mistakes. Our privacy policy explains how ads use cookies and how to control them.
Who makes it
Sudoku Arena is made and run by an independent developer. Suggestions, bug reports and questions are always welcome: see the contact page.
